Reiki taught me so much about people and how we should look at the WHOLE person – the physical, mental and emotional aspects of each individual, and in doing so, it made me realise that one of the things that I had nearly taken for granted was how my own body has remained strong and allowed me to achieve all sorts of things. So it seemed a natural progression – encouraged as well by my friends and family – to become a Personal Trainer.

I gained my Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training in November 2019 and from the moment I had decided to sign up to this course I knew I was on the right track. I still go to my own PT when I need a boost because I love the banter and the workout! Someone encouraging me and pushing me and this is what I aim to do for you. Running, yoga, occasional wild swimming, living and working on a deer farm, and rushing about after 2 young kids, also help me to keep my own strength, emotional and mental wellbeing at optimal levels.

Being fit and strong are my main motivators – both in body and mind, and if you happen to find your jeans doing up that bit easier along the way then so much the better!!
